It also tests whether a small business idea has demand before money is spent, and uses a three-month review to choose the next useful skill.

Find the work behind the title
At school, you usually receive a question and a deadline. After graduation, no teacher always arranges the next assignment. Visal opens job advertisements and looks for a title matching his degree. When he cannot find one, he thinks he studied the wrong subject. But degree names and job titles do not always match word for word. He needs to read what the work involves.
A degree can show that you completed a program, and for some occupations it is essential. Employers also need to understand how you can help with particular work. The problem might be making documents easier to find, reducing data errors, or explaining a service to a customer. Useful work usually has someone who needs its result.
Translate knowledge into action
Translate your knowledge into actions. Instead of “I studied management,” ask how well you can organize a timetable, compare costs, or write clear meeting notes. Instead of “I know computers,” identify a document you produced or a problem you solved. Do not claim more than you can do. Clear descriptions allow someone to ask further questions and examine actual capability.
You may need temporary work to earn an income. That does not reject the value of your degree. If possible, preserve time for learning or exploring the next direction, and set a date to review your situation. A current job can meet one need without meeting every life goal. However, notice whether it creates future possibilities or uses all your energy until further progress becomes difficult.
Identify how you can help
Do not blame yourself for every obstacle in finding work. Hiring can involve unequal treatment and restrictions you cannot control. You can improve an application without claiming that unemployed people have not tried. Distinguishing what you can influence from what you cannot helps you direct effort more reasonably.
Today, write three problems you could help solve and the evidence you have for each. Where evidence is missing, record what you could attempt. The question after graduation is not only “Which degree do you hold?” It is also “What can you help do, and what will you learn to do it better?” That question may lead you toward work you had not previously noticed.
