The Lean Startup — Book Summary
សង្ខេបសៀវភៅ «អាជីវកម្មថ្មីដែលរៀនមុនខ្ជះខ្ជាយ»
What is The Lean Startup about?
Eric Ries treats a startup as an organization searching under extreme uncertainty, where the central task is learning what customers will actually use and pay for. The Build-Measure-Learn loop, Minimum Viable Product, validated learning, innovation accounting, and the choice to pivot or persevere form a system for testing assumptions before waste becomes too expensive.

Introduction — 1
A team can build a technically impressive product, meet its deadlines, and still discover that customers do not want it. Eric Ries begins with that uncomfortable distinction because he experienced it himself. Hard work and a persuasive vision do not resolve uncertainty about who the customer is, what matters to that person, or whether a sustainable business can emerge. The Lean Startup proposes a management system for investigating those questions before an organization spends all its resources executing a mistaken plan.
Introduction — 2
By the end of this reading, you should be able to distinguish learning from a convenient explanation for failure; turn a business assumption into a useful experiment; choose evidence that reveals customer behavior rather than merely flattering the team; explain when a pivot differs from ordinary optimization; and connect faster experimentation to quality, growth, and organizational responsibility. The examples come from the book's 2011 context. Their purpose is to explain the method, not to certify the companies' present performance. The method aims to improve judgment and reduce avoidable waste; it does not remove risk or provide a formula guaranteeing entrepreneurial success.
